CollegeConnect Program Accepting Applications
Posted 2/7/19

CollegeConnect Program Applications Available Until 2/14.

CollegeConnect is a unique dual enrollment program offered in partnership with Diablo Valley College (DVC), San Ramon Campus. Through CollegeConnect, high school juniors enroll in a shortened high school schedule so that they may attend college courses during their regular school day or in the evening. Students engage in learning alongside college students while maintaining their high school experience.

CollegeConnect students participate during their 11th and 12th grade years and may fulfill up to a year of transferable general education curriculum for colleges and universities including the UC and CSU systems. They take four courses at their home school and two courses per semester at DVC, San Ramon Campus, and are provided with a weekly support course. Successful students may complete their first year of college by the time they graduate from high school. Additionally, students may take coursework during the summer. Free tuition expenses are provided but students are required to provide their own transportation.

We encourage a wide variety of students to apply to the CollegeConnect program including those who may not necessarily consider themselves “college ready” at this point in their educational career. Students who are hard-working, able to persevere through challenging situations, and bring a diverse set of experiences and perspectives to the program would be an especially good fit.

The CollegeConnect application materials can be found on the CollegeConnect Webpge.

Students interested in applying to the program should complete the application and personally deliver all application materials no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 to: San Ramon Valley Unified School District Building C - Educational Services Department 699 Old Orchard Drive Danville, CA, 94526
