Welcome Back to School

Alamo School PTA

July 2017

Dear Alamo School Families,

A warm welcome to Alamo School families, both returning and new! The summer has flown by and we are excited for the new school year to begin.

The PTA is a vital part of Alamo School. It is an organization made up of You, the parents, and the teachers and staff. As parents, we share at least one common goal - we all want what is best for our child! Supporting the Alamo School PTA with your membership helps to fund programs such as the Hoedown Fall Festival, Talent Show, Family Game Night, Family Reading Nights, Harvest of the Month and much more. No meeting attendance is required. Plus, your support entitles you to a free school directory, which is useful for play dates, birthday parties, and correspondences.

Please take a moment and check out all the PTA has to offer with its multitude of community programs on this tab. We offer the opportunity to purchase yearbooks, books for birthday book club, donate to our school garden and sister school, and register for PTA membership all online. Plus, please take a few moments and review the PTA photo release waiver (this is separate from the school photo release) and the PTA activity waiver and check the appropriate boxes.

Under our Club Activities tab, you can sign up for Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Odyssey of the Mind or more by clicking on the appropriate links.

One of the best ways to be involved, and to get to know other parents and your children’s friends, is to participate in school activities. Think about taking on a job - small or large on our Volunteer tab - Parent involvement is what makes Alamo School a special place.

We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Registration Kickoff Celebration and around campus! THANK YOU in advance for your support of Alamo School! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
